Designed to excel

At WIDMA, we believe that well designed is half the job done. We have established a special process to ensure that the design meets our customer's requirements with minimal iteration.

To achieve this we first work closely with our customer's teams to understand their needs completely. Our in-house design team then works on CAD software and analysis packages to ensure that we build it right first time. The design output is smoothly transited through a dedicated PDM to supply chain, assembly, application & commissioning. All feedback is captured, scrutinized closely and, if necessary, changes are incorporated. This close looped process ensures that the design meets and even exceeds our customer's expectations.

WIDMA's focus has always been the customer and our approach has always been straight forward – provide the best solution to the given metal cutting challenge. We are driven by a desire to deliver the best productivity and quality, be it for a stand-alone fixture or an entire manufacturing line, a single spindle machine or a multi-spindle-multi-station one.

Uncompromising quality

WIDMA has established a well-defined quality assurance system that covers every step of the process, right from supply chain up to final trials and installation. Spindles are carefully assembled in a clean, temperature-controlled atmosphere and individually tested. After assembly, the whole machine is thoroughly tested as per WIDMA standards before trials commence. During trial, actual components are machined, inspected and the results are analyzed statistically to make sure that the machine delivers quality products consistently, with minimum to nil breakdown.
