The WIDMA Way

We started as a machine tool building division of Kennametal in Bengaluru, India, in 1984. Over the years, we established ourselves as a leader in providing customized metal cutting CNC machines covering a host of ‘finishing’ operations that demand high accuracy and productivity. We gradually diversified into customized, semi-standard, and standard machines for machining requirements across industries, ranging from micro tools to large structural parts for the locomotive and general engineering industries.

We deliver value through our comprehensive manufacturing process—from product conceptualization to design and assembly to after-sales customer support. We have a highly skilled in-house team of over 40 design engineers for designing various machines, fixtures, and automation who work in tandem to set the standards for world-class manufacturing. This capability enables us to deliver value to our customers, boosting productivity and quality.

Best-in-Class Infrastructure

WIDMA has its state-of-the-art manufacturing unit located in Bengaluru. Spread over 75,000 sq. ft., it houses the sales and engineering team, design team, manufacturing team, assembly and application team and service support staff – all under one roof. WIDMA hosts in-house manufacturing and assembly capabilities for its critical components. This precision is achieved through jig boring machines, horizontal and vertical machining centers, CNC surface grinders and CNC cylindrical grinding machines. It also has established high quality vendor base to manufacture and assemble components, weldment, castings etc.
